Bailey Wimberly is seeking her doula certification through DONA International. She has had an interest in maternal and neonatal health, the outcome of mother and child, and herbal healing since 2011. She has been pursuing education on these topics for 5 years. In 2014 she traveled to the Philippines to learn about birth outcomes in impoverished countries. That experience moved her to help mothers learn about and achieve healthy birth experiences for the sake of their long-term physical and emotional health.
Her heart is for the women of Memphis and her ultimate goal is to lower the neonatal and maternal outcome rates. She enjoys supporting women who are in need and those who are seeking to accomplish a fulfilling birth experience.
